Daily DeviationWith it's crystalline clarity and icy blue colors, Frostbite by `Aeires is an excellent and aptly named composition that mixes... sleek sheets of ice, faceted ice crystal globes and blustery movement; a perfectly frosty January fractal! (Featured by `Sophquest)

I love the little baubles, but something about the icy part throws me off a little... I dunno, it could be the white lines all throughout. Still, it's beautiful, and it makes me look very closely. :) Nicely done Jeff!

Growing out of my comfort zones with the icy parts, a year ago I would have never used that type of formula. I'm not ready to totally abandon my own style just yet, but I'm getting there. :)

Thanks, more chaotic winter blues. :D

Perfect title and brilliant color work too!

Pride and grace cannot dwell in the same place.
Nice icy feel to this. Very pretty and wintry. I like the swirls and spheres in this particularly.

However, I think I know what's throwing `Nestalgica off: you have a bit more turquoise and tropical blues than icy blues in the gradient. In some lights that's properly chilly, but I'm wondering if that might be what got to him.

You may want to try a more silver/blue variation where the colors are a touch less saturated and more "chilled."

Years are like fractals. The more you've seen of them, the more you appreciate the details of each one, rather than how many you've seen.
Er, I think Nestalgica is female? o_o

Sorry if I mixed up your gender there. :(

Anyways, I realized belatedly that it wasn't so much tropical blues--although that's a good description--as ocean blues. Either way, it throws the "chilly icy cold" impression off a bit.
