Artist's Comments

Another rainy day file I had sitting around. If you use apophysis, it's good to have a temp folder. Anyway, after fighting insomnia for hours last night, I decided to finish this, and I hate to sit on finished files, so here it is.

Apophysis with no postwork except frame/font. Name was from all the images of moonlight reflecting off deep water at night, or the shimmering I've seen from underwater photography at night as the light from the boat draws near.

the title fits the image perfectly and you captured that mood well. it looks like moonlit water deep at night :gummybear:

Man! This one is fabulous! It honest to goodness looks EXACTLY like water. Amazing.
:iconaeires:
Thanks for confirming that. I thought it looked like water, but really had a hard time with a name that wasn't to cliche. :)

Thanks. I submitted this one for print and I'm really curious what full sized one would look like. Might have to pick this up as a Christmas presant. :)

I agree. I saw it and said, to myself, yes, I do talk to myself, I bet he makes that one into a print

Very nice work, indeed! It's got that cool look of looking down into the water that's been lit from below. Well done!
