This looks like another "Aliens" inspired artwork, even though it's not...It looks like a spine.

I can see that. Kinda has to do with the ribbing look.

Like blink of some deep see form, a dream for a blind. This is very deep and psychodelic work my friend.

Thanks, friend. Don't dwell much into psychodelic much, but it's always fun to run the border. :D

Thanks, Thelma. Made a conscious effort to get away from the fire reds and figured purple was a great way to start. :)

 It's actually the same image. I submitted it for print, and figured I'd update it while I did that. Wish they would remove how things show up in the message box whenever a change is made. Probably going to show up again when the print is accepted.

Hey, I love :spam: . Fried crispy on italian or french bread. Yumm. :D

Hey, thanks. That's one of the downsides of fractals, sometimes they really aren't anything specific, just are what they are. Glad you like it, regardless exactly what it is. :)

I think it's really pertyful.

In other news, I never saw that Final Fantasy movie, but I've heard all sorts of crazy things.

Christen and I never got to seek out that book, seeing as how she sucks and hasn't come to see me for a few weeks now. But I did ask and our bookstore does not have it. Although I think I'll order it when I have the time.

Thanks.

If you have a Family bookstore where you are at, they might have a copy of it, or will be able to get a copy.

I'm not sure if we have one or not. I think I'm banned from the only one here. It's Christian run, so yeah, should explain itself. If not, it has a lot to do with the day I was having and the attitude the clerk was giving me. So I got into a conversation with her, short, polite, and she banned me and said I was trying to put a curse of Satan on the store. Conservative Christian towns are kind of lame. I might just order it from Amazon. Avoid the drama?

And in other news still, life is pretty okay, hope things are going okay for you, what with that life after high-school thing.

Thanks. Going to try to use a wider variety of colors from now on in my apo works. Purple was my first choice. I have dozens of purples, but I couldn't pass on the glow in this one. :)

Do what feels right. If you think it would work with purple, then go for it. I certainly won't complain :)

yeah, thats it.
what variations did you use?
Reply
:iconaeires:
Aeires Featured By Owner Jan 27, 2005
Never really used the animation much, but as soon as my current render is over, I'll check it out.

This was part spherical and part handkerchief. The folds that run the bottom are the handkerchief influence, and the ribs and swirls are from the spherical variation. I've found that those two variations go very well with each other.
